You may want to block access to the downloads for many reasons. Maybe the customers are sharing the links with friends, maybe they have caused fraudulent activity, or maybe their order was refunded.

Downloads are automatically blocked on orders that are:

Cancelled
Voided

The Fileflare app will block access to the downloads immediately on any of the above order statuses. This is available on all plans, including the free plan. If you want to enable downloads for orders with the above conditions, you will need to create a new order for them in the Orders page in Shopify admin.

How to do it

Go to Filefare
Go to the Orders page and open up the individual Order page
You will see a Restrict access button. Just switch this on, and click the Update button
Inform your customer that the links will now be accessible

How to customise the restriction message

You can easily customise the text of the restriction message. Simply go to the Global limitations page and scroll down to the Access restricted section.
