Connect your email using SMTP with Brevo

How to get set up Brevo SMTP



1. Sign up to Brevo if you haven't yet



2. Connect your domain name



Brevo allow you to verify your domain name with many domain providers without adding DNS settings, making it really easy for anyone who doesn't like messing with DNS.

On the homepage, click the profile drop-down in the top-right
Click on "Senders, Domains & Dedicated IPs"



Go to "Domains"
Click the "Add domain" button



Brevo allows you to easily verify your domain with may popular domain providers:



4. Get the SMTP details



Go to the left menu in Brevo
Click on "Transactional"
Go to "Settings"
Go to "Configuration"
Click on "SMTP relay"



Here are your SMTP settings that you will copy over



5. Add SMTP details to Fileflare



Go to Fileflare
Go to "Settings"
Go to "Email settings"
Open up the SMTP option
Enter the Brevo SMTP details into the boxes in Fileflare

Enter the details from Mailtrap to the Fileflare boxes (the details could vary, copy direct from your Mailtrap):
Sender: Enter any email address that is for your domain name (it does not need to exist as an email) - Example - type-anything-here@example.com
Username: The "Login" that Brevo provides on the SMTP page
Password: The password that Brevo provides on the SMTP page
Host server: smtp-relay.brevo.com
Port: 587
Encryption: TLS



Now, you will receive an email at your store's email address. If you received the email, then it worked. If you didn't, then it didn't work. Please click the verify button in the email to confirm.
