How to deliver external URLs (links)

There are two types of assets that you can deliver to customers using Fileflare:
Uploaded files
URL assets

As you can see below, each asset has a coloured bubble explaining which type of asset it is:

Uploaded files

It's really straightforward; just simply upload a file from your device and it appears as an uploaded asset on the Assets page.

URL assets

A URL asset is an asset that is created by adding a URL that links to an external domain name. For example, dropbox.com.

They are used for directing customers to any other website that you want, such as a YouTube video, Dropbox link, AirFiles link, or anything you choose.

The way this works is by creating an asset that is a URL, not an actual file. Once the customer has purchased this asset, it will appear as a download link using your store's domain name, for example, store.com/download/...

After the download is clicked, it will redirect to your provided URL. Once the customer has been redirected, the customer will land on the website link you provided, and this is outside of Fileflare's control.
